Job Title: KS2 Teacher – Year 4
Location: Bournemouth (BH6)
Start Date: After Easter 2026
Contract Type: Full-Time | Fixed-Term (until the end of the academic year)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced KS2 Teacher to join one of our lovely mainstream primary schools in Bournemouth (BH6). This full-time position will see you teaching a Year 4 class from after the Easter holidays until the end of the academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who enjoys making a real difference in pupils’ learning and development within a supportive school environment.
What the Role Involves:

Delivering engaging, inspiring, and high-quality lessons across the full Year 4 curriculum

Planning lessons and sequences that are differentiated to meet the needs of all learners

Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing timely feedback to support achievement
-
Supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of all pupils
-
Maintaining a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

Working closely with colleagues, school leaders, and teaching support staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
About You – The Ideal Candidate:

Qualified Teacher with relevant experience teaching KS2, particularly Year 4

Confident in planning and delivering the full Year 4 curriculum
-
Skilled in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive

Strong communicator with excellent classroom management skills

Adaptable, enthusiastic, and ready to join a friendly, collaborative team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
