Teaching Personnel are working with a English speaking Secondary school in Powys who are looking for a Welsh speaking teacher to work with them on a longer term basis. They are looking for a person who is experienced with Secondary schools and happy to teach the Welsh language at both Key Stage 3 and 4. The assignment is a 0.9 contract (week 1 Monday – Friday / Week 2 All week but Thursday). This opportunity could be the perfect opportunity for a person who is starting their teaching career or looking for a few less hours than a full time position. A sound knowledge of the curriculum is essential in order to be able to deliver engaging lessons in accordance to its structures and changes.

• QTS

• Classroom based teaching experience

• Fluent Welsh skills

• Excellent classroom management skills

• The ability to gather resources to create stimulating lesson plans
