Up to £57.00 per day

Job description

Teaching Personnel support various primary schools in the Liskeard area who require daily sickness cover as well as longer term SEN support. As we begin the academic year 2019/2020, we are seeking to recruit experienced SEN teaching assistants who live locally to Liskeard and who are looking for two or more additional days of work each week.

The role:

  • We will provide you with an online diary meaning that you can pick which days you want to work each week. You may want to work a full week one week, and just a few days the next - whatever suits you!
  • We will offer you work in ages from Nursery to Year 6 in a wide range of primary schools across Liskeard, Looe and Callington.
  • You are able to prioritise which schools you like the most and tailor which age groups you would like to specialise in
  • We are able to place you within longer term positions if you decide that you would like consistent work in just one school. We work on new long-term placements in September, October, January and then for the remainder of the academic year as we approach September.
  • You will be introduced to schools and Headteachers who may be your future permanent employers!

Experience required:

  • At least 1 year of experience supporting children (school, nursery, childcare, residential, support)
  • Level 2 or above qualification in Childcare/Supporting Education/Education/School Support
  • A genuine commitment to a career in Education
  • Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour/Social and Emotional difficulties

If you are interested in joining our fantastic team of supply Teaching Assistants, please contact Poppy on 01872 250123 or Poppy has supported primary schools in the Liskeard area for over 3 years and has excellent relationships with many schools in the area.
