Looked After Children Tutor – Gateshead (NE10)
Face-to-Face Tuition | Flexible School Hours

TP Tutors is seeking compassionate, reliable tutors to support Looked After Children in Gateshead (NE10) through personalised 1:1 tuition.
This role is about more than academics. It’s about providing stability, encouragement, and positive learning experiences for young people who may have faced disruption in their education.
You’ll support core subjects such as Maths, English, and Science, while helping learners rebuild confidence, develop routine, and re-engage with education.
✏️ The Role

Deliver structured, tailored 1:1 tuition

Adapt sessions to meet academic and emotional needs

Build strong, trusting relationships

Support steady progress and long-term engagement
Sessions take place face-to-face, either in the pupil’s home or in a local community setting such as a library.
✅ We’re Looking For

Qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or education professionals

Experience supporting vulnerable or disengaged learners (desirable)

A patient, nurturing and consistent approach

Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
