One of our friendly partner primary schools in Hengoed is looking for a full-time Support Worker to join their team for the academic year. No formal qualifications are needed – just enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will:

• Assist teachers with everyday classroom activities

• Support pupils with additional learning needs, including Autism and ADHD

• Encourage positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom

• Provide one-to-one and small group support where needed

About You

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is kind, patient, and committed to helping children reach their potential

• Can bring transferable skills from backgrounds such as care, youth work, customer service, or similar roles

• Wants to gain experience in education and grow into a school-based career

What You’ll Need (we can guide you through this):

• EWC Registration

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• References covering the past two years
