Unqualified Support Worker – Full Time (Caerphilly)
£89.38 per day (£13.75 per hour)

One of our welcoming partner primary schools in Caerphilly is looking for a Support Worker to join their team on a full-time basis for the academic year. No formal qualifications needed – just the right attitude and a passion for supporting children!
About the Role:
As a Support Worker in a primary school, you will:
- Work closely with teachers to assist in day-to-day classroom activities
- Provide additional support to children with learning needs such as Autism and ADHD
- Help manage classroom behaviour with a calm and positive approach
- Offer one-to-one and small group support where needed

We welcome applicants who:
- Are kind, patient, and enthusiastic about working with children
- Can bring transferable skills from roles in care, youth work, customer service, or similar sectors
- Want to build a career in education, even without formal teaching experience
What You’ll Need (Don’t Worry – We’ll Help You Get These):
- Education Workforce Council (EWC) Registration
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
- References covering the last two years

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
