Pay Rate: £13.75 per hour (paid weekly via PAYE)
Start Date: September (trial days available before the summer break)

We’re currently recruiting Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to work in Welsh-medium primary schools across Caerphilly. These roles run for the full academic year, supporting children from Nursery to Year 3, many of whom require additional support due to behavioural or learning needs.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

• Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons

• Assisting with the planning and delivery of educational activities

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with behavioural or additional learning needs

• Helping to maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment

• Communicating effectively with staff, pupils, and parents in both Welsh and English

We’re Looking for Someone Who:

• Is fluent in Welsh (spoken and written)

• Has experience working with children who have behavioural or learning difficulties

• Can demonstrate patience, empathy, and strong behaviour management skills

• Is confident, adaptable, and works well in a team

• Has a genuine passion for helping pupils reach their potential
