Daily Pay: £89.38 (£13.75 per hour) – paid weekly via PAYE

A welcoming Welsh-medium primary school in Bargoed is looking for a Behaviour Support Coach to work closely with pupils who need extra support managing their emotions and behaviour in the classroom.

Your Role: Behaviour Support Coach

As a key part of the school’s support team, you’ll help pupils regulate their emotions, stay engaged in lessons, and develop confidence both in and out of the classroom. You’ll be:

• Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups

• Assisting with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies

• Delivering tailored interventions and mentoring activities

• Supporting class teachers to create a positive learning environment

• Helping pupils re-engage with learning through encouragement and consistency

• Logging behaviour incidents and contributing to support plans

Who We're Looking For

This role would suit someone who:

• Is fluent in Welsh (spoken and written)

• Has experience working with children – in schools, youth work, coaching, care or mentoring

• Is calm, patient, and confident when supporting challenging behaviour

• Can build strong, positive relationships with young learners

• Is committed to making a lasting difference in children's lives

Experience in a school isn’t essential – if you have the right values and transferable skills, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Need (or Be Willing to Work Towards):

• EWC Registration (School Learning Support Worker category)

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service

• Two recent references
