Teaching Personnel are looking for a tutor of science able to support learning in students aged 11-16 and in both KS3 and KS4.
We are looking for a passionate and considerate tutor who is able to bring a mixture of patience and motivation to the role, to inspire the students to achieve. This role is likely to involve working with students with SEN and therefore experience working with SEN students in the past is preferable however not necessary. You will need to be able to be flexible whilst tutoring students as the sessions can change drastically dependant on how quickly the pupil understands and grasps the information, with different students working at different levels.
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications
Requirements
- Have a personable, professional nature
- No formal teaching qualification necessary, but you must have strong subject knowledge
- Have a passion for sharing knowledge
Tutoring with Teaching Personnel will allow you to earn between £25 and £30 an hour, with tuition slots usually booked for between one and two hours. The tuition will take place at either the students home, or the school itself dependant on what would work best for the students individual needs.
