TP Tutors is looking for enthusiastic SEN Tutors in Portsmouth to deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition for learners who thrive outside of mainstream education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time opportunities available)

Your Role

  • Create and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learners
  • Support young people with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Build positive relationships that encourage trust and progress
  • Adjust teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities
  • Provide tuition in home or local community environments

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people in any setting
  • Strong communication and the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Patient, adaptable, and solution-focused approach
  • Comfortable travelling within Portsmouth and nearby areas
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
