Shape Futures Through Personalised Learning – SEN Tutors Required in Portsmouth

Are you an educator who believes that every learner deserves a tailored approach to succeed? We are currently recruiting passionate SEN Tutors in Portsmouth to provide high-quality, individualised support that helps students overcome barriers and achieve their potential.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time / Full-Time)

About the Opportunity
This role offers the chance to work closely with learners who require additional support outside of mainstream settings. You will design and deliver bespoke sessions that not only improve academic outcomes but also build confidence, independence, and a positive attitude towards education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver structured, personalised learning programmes
  • Support students with a range of Special Educational Needs
  • Implement adaptive teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • Foster engagement, motivation, and self-confidence
  • Monitor progress and refine approaches to maximise impact

Candidate Profile

  • Experience in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or SEN support
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust quickly
  • Patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to learning support
  • Clear understanding of safeguarding and inclusive practices
  • Ability to travel across Portsmouth
