Help Young People Thrive Through Education

Do you have a passion for supporting learners with Special Educational Needs? TP Tutors is seeking committed tutors in Portsmouth to provide 1:1 and small group support in Maths and English.

If you have experience in education, youth work, or SEN support, this is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.

Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Specialist Opportunities Available)
Location: Portsmouth and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time

Your Role

  • Deliver tailored, engaging tuition sessions
  • Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs
  • Foster a positive and structured learning environment
  • Work in homes or community-based settings
  • Help learners build confidence and achieve their goals

What You’ll Need

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Ability to teach Maths and/or English
  • Based in Portsmouth or able to commute locally
  • A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
