Job Title: 1:1 Tutor (In-Person)

Location: Corby (Pupil’s Home or School Setting)
Hours: During School Hours (Flexible)

About the Role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated 1:1 tutors to support pupils in the Corby area. Tutoring sessions will take place either in the pupil’s home or within a school setting, tailored to the individual learning needs of each student. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s educational journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalised 1:1 tutoring sessions
Adapt lessons to meet each pupil’s learning style and needs
Support pupils in their academic progress and engagement
Monitor and report on student development
Maintain a professional, safe, and supportive learning environment

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ teaching or tutoring experience, or Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred
Strong knowledge of core subjects (Maths, English, Science)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to apply)
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
