Job Title: 1:1 Tutor
Location: Towcester Area
Hours: Flexible (during school hours)
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking committed and enthusiastic 1:1 Tutors to support pupils in the Towcester area. This role involves working with students who may need additional academic support outside of a mainstream classroom, either within a school setting or at the pupil’s home.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver tailored, engaging 1:1 lessons based on individual learning needs
Support pupils in core subjects such as English, Maths, and/or Science
Adapt teaching methods to suit different abilities and learning styles
Provide support to pupils with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH where required
Monitor and report on pupil progress
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and other professionals

Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people (teaching, tutoring, or support roles)
Strong understanding of the UK curriculum
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule

Desirable:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
Experience supporting SEND or SEMH pupils
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
