1:1 Tutor (Maths, English or Science) – Wellingborough

Part-time | Flexible | School Hours Available


About the Role

TP Tutors are looking for experienced and dedicated 1:1 Tutors to support students in the Wellingborough area. This role is ideal for those seeking flexible, part-time work during school hours, with the opportunity to make a real difference in students’ education.

You will deliver personalised lessons to students who may require additional support outside of mainstream education.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver tailored 1:1 tutoring sessions in Maths, English, or Science (GCSE level)
  • Plan and adapt lessons to suit individual learning needs
  • Support students with confidence, engagement, and academic progress
  • Provide feedback on progress where required

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ UK teaching or tutoring experience
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, or Science
  • Experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable)
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Excellent communication and a flexible, patient approach
