Job Title: Secondary Tutor
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £20-£25 per hour
Are you passionate about education and making a difference in students' lives? We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Tutor to join our team in Chelmsford. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and support students across various subjects in their academic journey.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions for secondary school students.
- Tailor teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles and needs.
- Create engaging and interactive lesson plans to enhance understanding and retention of subject material.
- Assess student progress and adjust tutoring techniques accordingly.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to academic success.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, or related field preferred.
- Previous tutoring or teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge across various secondary school subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to reach their full potential.
- Reliable and punctual with a passion for education.
Location:
Our tutoring sessions take place in Chelmsford, Essex. The ability to travel to students' homes or meet at a designated location is essential.
Salary:
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £20-£25 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
