We cover key locations across Essex, working closely with families, local authorities, and schools to ensure every student receives the education and care they deserve. Sessions take place in homes, schools, or community spaces—wherever the learner feels safe and supported.

Your role will include:

• Create, plan and deliver 1:1 tutoring sessions tailored to each student
• Support a range of SEND needs using evidence-based strategies
• Create a calm, safe, and engaging learning environment where students can flourish
• Build strong, trusting relationships with learners and their families
• Monitor and report on progress, adjusting support as needed
• Work closely with schools, support staff, and families to ensure holistic learning

We’re looking for people who:

• Passionate about supporting children with SEND
• Patient, empathetic, and able to adapt teaching to meet diverse needs
• Experienced in working with SEND children (in education, care, or therapeutic settings)
• Creative and flexible in their teaching style
• Strong communicators who can collaborate with families and professionals
• Ideally qualified with a background in education, SEN support, or related fields (though we provide training too!)

Why Join TP Tutors?

• Competitive pay and flexible working hours
• Ongoing training and professional development
• The opportunity to make a real impact on the lives of children who need it most
• Work that feels meaningful – every single day
