Tutor (EBD experienced)

Job description

We are looking for tutors who are able to teach maths and English at secondary level to students with emotional and behavioural difficulties.

The students may be in care, excluded from mainstream school or have other additional needs such as special needs or a language barrier, therefore it is important for applicants to be creative, adaptable, and patient. You need to have Qualified Teacher Status or proof of extensive tuition experience.

The tuition usually takes place in the students residence or in a local community building, you will need your own transport to travel and must have a physical DBS certificate to show which is registered to the update service.
Tuition can vary from 2 to 5 days per week, 1 hour per day up to 3 depending on the needs and ability of the student. Rate of pay is £20 per hour however this can be flexible depending on experience and the needs of the student.
