Future Teachers Program Scunthorpe
Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with Schools and University’s across the country on a program called Future Teachers. The Future Teachers Program is designed to give graduates the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working in schools and alternative provisions.
The Future Teachers Program provides each individual graduate with the chance to learn about key elements of teaching life and what it entails. You will observe and assist in lesson planning and delivery, 1:1 pupil intervention, develop student learning plans, exam preparation and tutoring! These are just a few examples of the tasks you will carry out on a daily basis while also being supported by a mentor and consultant who will work with you through the year. The Program itself presents great career progression and the opportunity to complete a year within the education sector before applying for a PGCE or gaining a place on a Teacher Training Program.
Future Teacher entry requirements:
- Graduated by July 2019
- Must be available for September 2019 start
- Live around the Scunthorpe area or able to commute
- Must be available Monday to Friday 08:30 till 15:30
- Experience with subjects including Science, English, History, Maths, ICT or Geography
