Teaching Personnel are specifically recruiting a Team Teach trained Teaching Assistant for a partner school that we work with in the Blackburn with Darwen area. The School is smaller than average and class sizes are generally under 8 pupils per class. The School are looking for a long term, full time Teaching Assistant to support pupils who have a range of additional needs, including; SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and Challenging Behaviours. The School are looking for a permanent member of staff due to a resignation they have recently had.
The candidate must be hard working, empathetic and understanding to the needs of the pupils and have experience working with pupils with SEMH Difficulties and/or challenging behaviours. The candidate must be willing to work with pupils who can be violent or aggressive in their behaviours, hence why the School are hoping to appoint a Team Teach trained member of staff.
The role will be full time, long term, starting in the new academic year. The pay for this role will be between £57 - 67 per day. The role would require a candidate who is happy to work from 8.30am - 2.45pm Monday - Friday.
