Job description

Immediate Start: SEN Teacher – SEMH School (Full-Time)

Are you a passionate SEN Teacher ready to make a real difference immediately? We want YOU to join our dynamic team supporting children aged 10–16 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role:

You’ll be working with children who need extra support to manage their behaviour and emotions, helping them thrive academically and socially. You will be responsible for:

  • Planning, preparation, and assessment for your lessons
  • Delivering engaging and supportive learning experiences
  • Supporting students with Maths and Science (specialism in these subjects is a bonus!)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Enhanced DBS – Child Workforce Only (essential to start immediately)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Passion for making a positive impact on children with SEMH needs
  • Experience in Maths and Science is advantageous
  • Strong planning, preparation, and assessment skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
