EYFS Teacher – Primary Schools | Barnsley & Sheffield

The Role

As an EYFS Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support children’s communication, language, literacy, and early maths development.
• Observe, assess, and track progress to inform next steps in learning.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.

‍ What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience teaching within EYFS or early years settings.
• Strong understanding of child development and early learning strategies.
• A nurturing, patient, and creative approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
