Team Teach Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are seeking SEN teaching assistants for a new  Autism class opening in a Special School based in Swiss Cottage for January. The roles will vary from an immediate start  contract post in the first instance with the view to become permanent. These posts would be best suited to anyone with a background in Care homes , Nurseries, Sports (coaching), Psychology, Youth Work, Art and Design and Music and holds training such as Manual Handling  or TEACCH . I am happy to discuss the post with individuals with more limited SEN or Autism experience that are interested or passionate in supporting vulnerable young people within SEN.

This is a lovely provision which provides a nurturing environment for all pupils across Early Years up to KS5. There are highly qualified support staff team  and pupils are taught in small class sizes on a 1:1 or general support role. Previous experience and or passion of working with SEN are essential. You may be required to also provide support with intimate care such as toileting and changing nappies due to the complex needs of their pupils.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
