Our partner school in Wigan is a behavioural school for primary aged pupils. The school have just taken on a young person who displays a range of very challenging behaviours, so they are hoping to employ a Team-Teach trained teaching assistant to work on a 1:1 basis.
This is a temporary role, with great potential to become permanent.
The school is looking for a confident and resilient individual that is able to engage with a reluctant learner on a 1:1 basis and in the classroom. The Team-Teach trained teaching assistant for this Wigan post will be helping a learner who is under performing in their subjects and assist in implementing strategies to benefit the learner in self-esteem and confidence. You must be a strong role model, motivated and dedicated to providing outstanding teaching support.
The school is looking a passionate person to create change and bring enthusiasm to assist the pupil in day to day learning and routine. You will have a desire for working with young people and be looking to make a real difference.
