Teaching Staff needed to support pupils with Mental Health Needs

Full Time

We are working in partnership with a school in Slough that supports pupils with Social, Emotional Mental Health Needs. They are looking for full time teaching assistants to support the Teacher with a class of primary children.

Successful Candidates

  • Experience supporting within either a SEN school or Pupil Referral Unit (PRU)
  • Strong Behaviour Management skills
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Primary curriculum
  • Able to monitor, assess and report pupil progress daily
  • Enthusiastic, career driven and a passion to work in Education
  • Keen to be involved in extra curriculum activities - art, drama, music, sport
  • Team Teach Trained (desirable but not essential)
  • Understanding/experience of Special Needs, namely SEMH and associated learning disabilities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
