Individuals with experience in working with young people or adults with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs needed for schools across Manchester

  • Training opportunities such as the Team Teach Qualification

Teaching Personnel provide learning support assistant's with experience in engaging disaffected children with low self-esteem who may suffer with some anxiety and or anger management challenges as part of our Nurture package. To apply for this post you will have a background in working with troubled young people and young adults and have worked in educational, health and care settings. The role will focus on providing the schools with an additional layer of supportive behaviour management.

The learning support assistant will work either on a one-to-one basis or in pairs based on the pupils who need support in this area. You could also be asked to work within the school and possibly with outside activities to encourage trust and help build confidence. The length of the assignment will be dependent on the development of the child/children and will be judged on their improved confidence, engagement and positive outlook.
