Teaching Assistants required ASAP!

Are you a Teaching Assistant seeking work in the Lancashire area?

Are you happy to work within an SEN environment or Behavioural Unit?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a number of Lancashire based Schools who are seeking candidates ASAP to work with pupils who have special educational needs or pupils who display behavioural difficulties. The Schools are located in Blackburn, Burnley, Accrington, Rawtenstall, Chorley and Preston and they all need a number of staff on a day to day and longer term basis.

The Schools caters for pupils with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH difficulties and Learning Difficulties. Some of the pupils also have Physical Disabilities and Downs Syndrome. The Schools are both primary and secondary and candidates will ideally be flexible and be happy to work in a number of settings.

The candidates must be flexible, adaptable, hard working and willing to work initially on a short term basis. The candidate must have experience supporting pupils with special educational needs and behavioural difficulties.

The candidate will benefit from:

* Negotiable pay rates £50.44-55 per day

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
