Job Title: Teaching Assistants

Location: West Midlands, Birmingham

Job Duties:

  • Provide support to SEN children in the classroom
  • Assist with individual and group activities under the direction of the teacher
  • Help create a positive learning environment for all students
  • Support children with autism and other special educational needs
  • Implement PECs and team teach strategies as required
  • Be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced educational setting

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSE qualifications in English, Maths, and Science
  • Experience working with SEN children

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Experience supporting children with autism
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • PECs trained
  • Team teach trained

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Experience working in a similar role within a school setting

Working Conditions:

This is a temporary full-time position with a salary of £80 - £90 per day. The role involves working with SEN children in schools in Sutton Coldfield. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
