Job Title: SEN Resource Base Teaching Assistant
Location: West Midlands, Birmingham
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Salary: £85 - £92 Per day
Qualifications: Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning, Level 3 Supporting Education
Skills: Supporting children with autism, supporting in primary schools, supporting children with ADHD, behaviour management, confident, resilient, enthusiastic
Company Overview: Teaching Personnel works with schools in North Birmingham to provide passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children with special educational needs.
Job Duties:
- Provide support to children with special educational needs in a resource base setting
- Assist with the implementation of individual education plans
- Support children with autism and ADHD in their learning and development
- Manage challenging behaviours effectively
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
Required Qualifications:
- Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning qualification
- Level 3 Supporting Education qualification
Education and Experience:
- Previous experience supporting children with special educational needs
- Experience working in primary schools
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of supporting children with autism and ADHD
- Effective behaviour management skills
- Confident and resilient in challenging situations
- Enthusiastic about working with children
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional courses or training related to special educational needs
Working Conditions:
- Temporary position with Full-Time hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
