I have a school looking for eager new teaching assistants in September looking for a full-time role. It has high expectations of their staff and students which is sustained by the leadership.

Teaching Assistants needed in a school near Ealing

Details about the role are below:

  • Teaching assistants are expected to have experience working at Secondary schools, KS3-5 level
  • The school is rated highly as they have a strong and hard-working staff
  • Full-time role: 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • The successful candidate would ideally have a degree
  • Pay ranges from £60-90 a-day depending on experience and qualifications
  • It would be a temporary contract (2 terms - 1 year)
  • A 10 minute walk from Southall station

The Role

The roles for teaching assistants would be a full-time role in September. The school understand the need for a work/life balance and as such they expect candidates to work hard during working hours allowing a chance to relax out of hours.

The September start date for this role has interviews for these roles starting next week and continuing into the following week. The incoming candidate would be expected to work daily hours of 8:30am till 3:30pm, 5 days a week as a full-time role. The school are searching for candidates who can engage the students and has good behaviour control. There is an expectation to assist teachers in anyway they require whether that be planning, covering lessons or helping students with feedback and assessments so they can build and progress. Experience working with SEN, languages or extra-curricular activities would be welcome.

The School

The school aim to promote an ethic of hard work as they not only develop children's academia, but assist their learning as the have integrated a "learning to learn" program. This helps children grow into well rounded and respectable citizens who integrate and assist the community.

Ofsted have rated the school as "good" and the leadership maintain good standards with middle management upholding the values and standards. Ofsted were quote saying:

"the behaviour of pupils observed by inspectors was generally very good; pupils who spoke to inspectors were clear that they felt safe in school,"

Location

The school is accessible via Southall station and a 10 minute walk.
