If the answer is yes, Teaching Personnel is in search of a committed Teaching Assistant to join our team and contribute to a vibrant secondary school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with students with diverse learning needs, providing customized support tailored to address their specific requirements.
- Assist students in comprehending and engaging with the curriculum, reinforcing concepts through interactive learning methods.
- Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere, fostering student confidence and self-esteem.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to devise effective learning strategies and monitor student progress.
- Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and make necessary accommodations to facilitate students' learning and development.
- Provide emotional support to students, encouraging their personal and social well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and report progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Adhere to school policies, safeguarding guidelines, and uphold a high standard of professionalism.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant role or a related educational capacity is desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or special educational needs are advantageous.
- Demonstrate a patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach, with a genuine passion for supporting students' growth.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
- Flexibility and adaptability to cater to the diverse needs of students and work within different school environments.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
