We are seeking a Teaching Assistants to join the support department of our client school in Salisbury. We have a variety of part time and full time roles on temporary contracts and on a permanent basis. You would be supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs, whether these are SEN, behaviour or learning related.
The Roles:
- Teaching Assistant positions, October start.
- Opportunity for full time or part time work
- Competitive rates of pay
- 8:30-3:30 School day
The Ideal Candidate:
- Have experience working with children and young people
- Have a confident and friendly personality
- Have excellent behaviour management skills
- Have a DBS on the Update Service or be willing to do this.
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school is preferred, however we would considered applicants from those with similar transferable experience such as those who have supported young people with any behaviour, learning or SEN related needs in a different capacity such as support work. We would also like to hear from any recent graduates who are considering a future career in education and would like to seek further experience in a secondary school before enrolling on a PGCE or similar Teacher Training Programme.
