We are working with a Special Educational needs school in Slough who are looking for experienced Teaching assistants who are fairly flexible with working hours. The school requires teaching assistants to cover a range of classes due to short term sickness, school trips, and staff training days.
The role
The role entails covering varies different primary, secondary and post 16 classes across the school working with pupils with physical disabilities and autism. You will be expected to assist the class teacher with academic and social activities through out the day.
You
The ideal candidate would be happy to receive a call a day or two in advance or on the same day the cover is required. Experience working with pupils with SEN is desired - namely and physical disabilities autism. This experience can be professional or home based.

The school
This SEN school caters for primary secondary and post 16 pupils with a range of SEN including autism, social emotional mental health needs, speech language and communication needs, physical disabilities and dyslexia. Staff are highly knowledgeable with SEN and provide excellent facilities for pupils to learn, grow and develop to succeed in the workplace and live rewarding, independent lives.
