Teaching Assistant required in Behavioural Unit!

Are you a Teaching/Support Assistant seeking work in the Leyland area?

Do you have experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviours?

If so, Teaching Personnel are seeking a Teaching Assistant to work in a Behavioural Unit in the Preston area. The School caters for KS3/4 pupils who cannot remain in mainstream education due to their behaviour or there Special Educational Needs, many of the pupils have SEMH difficulties and will require 1:1 support at all times.

The School is based on the outskirts of Preston and they are seeking candidates to start work after the half term, the School is smaller than average and pupils in School will often display violent behaviours.

The candidate will be hard working, have experience supporting pupils who display challenging behaviours, pupils who can be physically and verbally aggressive and ideally hold their Team Teach qualification.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

* Negotiable pay rates £252 - 275 per week
