Are you an experienced SEN teaching assistant? Do you have experience in supporting pupils who have ASC and ADHD? Have you previously worked as an SEN teaching assistant and would you be interested in this full time post from January working in Manchester?

My priority school located in Manchester are seeking a SEN teaching assistant for a pupil referral unit (PRU). They want a SEN teaching assistant to cover for a member of staff who will be on a secondment. The position is to support pupils in the classroom with any needs they may have, and making sure that a safe environment is provided so that each pupil can reach their full potential.

The school caters for pupils who have ASC/ADHD and behavioural needs. The pupils are aged between 11-16.  The work will be set by the class teacher and you will be required to keep the children engaged, keep noise down and keep control of pupil’s behaviour.

*** PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE - ESSENTIAL

This is supply work and you will ideally have your own transport, if not be able to use public transport and commute to schools from a morning call.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
