Teaching Assistant - Ormskirk

Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for a school in Ormskirk. The role will involve supporting students with Speech & Language Difficulties, Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties, aged 5-19.

You will be working directly with young people in the classroom every day. You'll help them learn, monitor their work and help raise their self-esteem. You will need to be very resilient and dedicated to the of the young people in your class and help them to achieve to the best of their abilities.

You must have experience supporting young people with SEN or a close personal connection to SEN which could include the support of a family member or friend. You may also have experience as a support / care worker, youth worker, sports coach or party / play leader. All experience will be considered however, it's a fun, upbeat personality and a passion for changing lives that we are really looking for.

The role will be on a full-time basis from Sept 2019.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
