General Supply Teacher – Secondary (QTS Required)
Location: East Lancashire
Employer: Teaching Personnel
Availability: Full‑time ideal | Part‑time accepted (minimum 3 days per week)

Teaching Personnel are seeking versatile and enthusiastic General Supply Teachers to work across a range of successful secondary schools throughout East Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who enjoy variety, want greater flexibility, or are looking to broaden their experience across different school settings.
About the Role
As a General Supply Teacher, you will:
- Deliver pre‑planned lessons across a variety of subjects in Key Stages 3 & 4.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide continuity of learning in the absence of the class teacher.
- Adapt quickly to new school environments and build strong rapport with learners.
Requirements
To be considered, you must have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in UK secondary schools (placements accepted).
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Flexibility, reliability, and a professional attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
