School Administrator – Primary Schools

Are you an organised, professional, and friendly individual looking to work in a rewarding school environment? We are recruiting School Administrators to support busy and welcoming primary schools across Sheffield.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a vital role at the heart of a school community.
️ About the Role
As a School Administrator, you will:
- Provide front-of-house reception support, welcoming pupils, parents, and visitors
- Manage phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
- Maintain pupil records and update school databases (e.g. SIMS/Arbor)
- Support attendance monitoring and safeguarding procedures
- Assist with general office duties including letters, newsletters, and filing
- Provide administrative support to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team
✅ We’re Looking For:
- Previous administrative experience (school-based desirable but not essential)
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office; SIMS/Arbor knowledge advantageous)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- A calm, professional manner in a busy environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
