Teaching assistants needed to work in secondary schools throughout Greater Manchester to support students who have educational health care plans and need support in the areas of moderate learning difficulties, ADHD, ASC and social emotional mental health.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a secondary school supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis. If you are coming to the end of a contract, supply position and looking for work we welcome your application. Teaching Assistants work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, ensuring that they reach their expected levels of progress in line with targets.
You will be part of an SEN team that meets on a weekly basis and follows tailored individual plans. We are currently receiving requests from Secondary schools in the local authorities of Manchester, Stockport, Tameside, Trafford and Cheshire East.
Key features of a Teaching Assistant post;
- Weekly pay ranging from £250-£350 per week dependant on your experience
- Working within a supportive SEN department
- Access to a number of training and development courses
- Opportunity to earn a school based contract
- Support a teacher training application for graduates considering a career as a teacher
To be eligible for the role of a Teaching Assistant you will need to have suitable reference and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
