Teaching Assistant (Life Skills)

Have you coached or taught life skills or functional skills and are adept at supporting individuals with educational needs?

Our Special Needs school in Oldham are looking to employ a Life Skills Teaching Assistant on a full time, contracted basis to give students with additional needs the knowledge and skill to support themselves in later life.

No Formal Qualification is required however ideally you will also have some experience in working with people with special educational needs and have knowledge of things such as cooking, household management and financial management.

The sessions will be based on learning how to complete day to day tasks safely and effectively and as independently as possible. 

The role is available Monday to Friday on a temporary basis and we are looking to recruit immediately for this role, so please apply with an up to date CV!

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
