Teaching Personnel are currently seeking Teaching Assistants / Learning Support Assistants. Despite the current situation and widespread school closures, we anticipate an increased demand once the schools reopen and are keen to get people back to work as soon as possible.

How does it work?
The first step is a telephone conversation with one of our skilled consultants to discuss the process of clearing you for work and the types of work we have available in your area. If this seems like the type or role for you, we will then proceed to clear you for work.
What kind of work is available?
The role of any Teaching Assistant is varied, and here at Teaching Personnel it’s not different! Roles vary from full to part time, and can last one day to one year depending on what you’re looking for.

Small group phonics / numeracy / literacy intervention work
Nurture groups

General classroom assistant

Who can be a Teaching Assistant?
Ideally you will have a Teaching Assistant / childcare qualification or school based experienced. However candidates with experience or qualifications in Special Educational Needs and those who have worked in Health and Social Care, child counselling and children’s homes are also encouraged to apply.
