Teaching Assistant

A Teaching Assistant required for a temporary role based near Spalding. The role will involve working with individual students who have SEMH and challenging behaviour, the individual will need to be patient, resilient and have a nurturing nature towards students of all ages and abilities.

The Role:

• Supporting the delivery of all lessons and helping to engage students
• Liaise with teachers and support staff to develop education plans
• Building and maintaining student relationships
• Age range 4-16
• Delivering 1 to 1 intervention
• 8:30am to 15:30pm Monday to Friday

The ideal candidate:

• Experience of behavioural management within small groups or 1:1 setting
• Experience with Social Emotional and Mental Health
• Great communication and motivational skills
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or Care Assistant desirable
• Lives in or can travel to the Spalding area
