Teaching Personnel are recruiting educators for 1:1 SEN TA roles in and around Brimingham City Centre. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and have experience working with students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with students in small group sizes and be able to work alongside class teachers to implement the planning and organising of lessons that are engaging and follow the curriculum specification.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE
- Relevant experience working in KS3 and KS4.
- DBS certification or willingness to obtain one.
- Willing to work with students with low and high level SEN needs.
- Class control and behaviour management skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supporting the class teacher during lessons.
- Have vast knowledge and understanding of the school curriculum.
- Assess and monitor students progress across the academic year.
- Encourage and motivate the learning of the pupils.
- working 1:1 with SEN students to help them achieve their highest potential.
- working with small groups of students and engage them in learning.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
