The Candidate

The ideal candidate would be willing to support the learning of children by being a great example to the children as a teaching assistant. You must be proactive and happy to interact with children in both KS1 & KS2. The candidate must have good spoken English and a good understanding of the English language. A good knowledge of Key stage 2 Maths and English will also be an advantage.

This school is based in the heart of a prime North London location; Finsbury Park. This school believes that children thrive in a caring and intellectually stimulating environment with plenty of praise and encouragement. They aim to help pupils develop confidence, knowledge and skills so that they can take their place in society as well-balanced young people.

The role

This is a general teaching assistant role that requires the ideal candidate to be able to help with groups of students both inside and outside of the classroom. The candidate must also be willing to support and help students with their learning; this could be done in small groups or on a 1:1 basis.

The working hours are 8.30am – 4:00pm

Pay - GBP60 - GBP80 per day

Other requirements

The candidate must have a Child only DBS on the update service or must be willing to apply for a new one.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
