Job description

We're looking for confident, reliable individuals to support secondary schools across Oldham as Cover Supervisors. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to play an important role in the day-to-day running of a school.

The role involves supervising classes when teachers are absent, making sure students stay on task and complete the work that has been set. You don't need to be a qualified teacher, but you should be comfortable leading a classroom and building positive relationships with students.

Schools are looking for people who can remain calm under pressure, communicate well and help create a positive learning environment. Experience working with young people is beneficial, whether that's in a school, sports coaching, youth work or another similar setting.

There are opportunities available on both a full-time and part-time basis, with immediate starts for the right candidates. Many of these roles have the potential to lead to long-term or permanent positions.

If you're considering a career in education, or simply want a rewarding role where every day is different, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today to be considered.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQ’s on the Teaching Personnel website for details.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
