Teaching Assistant

** Teaching Assistant – Fulham - Teaching Assistant – Fulham - Teaching Assistant – Hammersmith - Teaching Assistant – College - Teaching Assistant - GBP12/hour - Teaching Assistant – Temporary (Option of Permanent) - Teaching Assistant – LSA – Learning Support Assistant **

Role: Teaching Assistant

Reporting to: Lead Student Support Assistant (Team Leader)

Location: Isleworth

Contract Length: July 2020 (option to extend further)

PAY: GBP12/hour (Weekly)

The purpose of this post is to support students in the college with a variety of disabilities and/or learning difficulties. You will receive full training for the tasks that you will be doing however some experience in SEN or Personal Care would be beneficial.

An example of the roles that you could be doing are;
* Teaching Assistant *

  • Working 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant with a student that cannot read.
  • Working 1:1 as a Teaching Assistant with a student that cannot write.
  • Working with small groups of students as a supervisor or personal tutor.
  • Assisting with personal care.
  • Assisting with peg feeding.

** Teaching Assistant **

The college is a very large community area full of life and bursting with modern facilities. You will be working alongside like minded people as part of a very sociable bunch of support staff at the school. There will also be groups of new starters at the school so you will all be in the same boat.

The school are looking for someone with a proactive attitude and a Teaching Assistant who will enjoy interacting with students with learning difficulties. Additional qualifications that would benefit your application would include;

  • A degree in any specialism would be beneficial.
  • Any qualification related to childcare, education or care.
  • Experience as a Care Worker, Teaching Assistant or member of support staff would be ideal.

The school are interviewing immediately so you could land yourself a new role within a week of first application.
