Part-time Teaching Assistant
Pay: GBP57 a day
(inc NI contributions, Pension contributions and 12.07% holiday pay)

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit welsh speaking Teaching Assistants who are available on an ad-hoc basis for our day to day supply and part time roles within Welsh Medium Primary Schools.
*Prior experience is not essential for this post.
What kind of roles will you be offered?
- 1:1 Behaviour Learning Support Assistant (Primary or Secondary)
- 1:1 Additional Learning Needs Teaching Assistant (Primary or Secondary)
- Primary School Teaching Assistant
- Secondary School Teaching Assistant
- General or Specific Classroom Assistant
- Cover Supervisor
Your roles and responsibilites will vary based on the type of school you are placed in.

What vetting will need to be completed in order to become a Teaching Assistant?
- To work in schools through us, you will be required to complete a new DBS Disclosure application via Teaching Personnel and register this with the DBS Update Service.
- You will need to be registered with the Education Workforce Council as a Support Learning Worker. Education Workforce Council (EWC) is the independent regulator in Wales for Teachers and learning support staff. Registration with the EWC is a legal requirement for anyone who works in a School in Wales;
- Full referee contact details and work email addresses of your two most recent teaching, childcare or employment positions.
You will be fully supporting throughout the vetting process.
