A provision in Barton that caters for children with Autism are currently looking for staff to join their team ASAP and to continue in the new academic year in September. The provision support primary and secondary aged students each holding an individualised intervention plan specific to their needs. You will work 1:1 with students as well as assist in the main classroom sessions.
Experience with Autism isn't essential as long as you are committed to learn, develop, engage well with students and have a genuine passion to start or continue a career with Special Needs. The provision will provide weekly training to help you understand each students needs and how to deliver interventions to support students social and academic development.
Requirements
- Strong Behaviour Management Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and nurturing attitude
- Dedicated and commitment to a career in the Education sector supporting Special Needs
- Keen to take on the training programmes offered
The provision requires staff Monday to Friday 9am - 15:00pm. Training would take place after 15:00pm.
This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience at a specialist Autism provision in Barton, to gain a permanent contract and continually develop your skills in the education sector
