Start Date: 13th April 2026
Contract: Full-Time (Monday–Friday) – 4 days considered for the right educator

About the Role

A welcoming and well‑established primary school in Burnley is seeking a KS2 PPA Teacher to join the team from 13th April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys delivering high‑quality lessons across different KS2 year groups.

You will provide PPA cover across the Key Stage 2 team, ensuring consistency for pupils and supporting the school’s strong teaching and learning culture. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well‑planned lessons across KS2 classes
  • Provide effective PPA cover that ensures continuity in learning
  • Support curriculum development within KS2
  • Establish positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong working knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
  • A flexible, confident and creative approach to teaching
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to quickly build rapport with different classes
  • High expectations of learning and progress

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within KS2
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
