Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of a client primary school in the Manchester area. Due to the new intake of children in the EYFS in the new year, the school are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant who is able to offer 1:1/small group support to a handful of children who need additional assistance settling into school. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the EYFS and will have a compassionate attitude towards assisting learning for children in the Early Years.
The successful candidate will work with a handful of children who are new to the school and have a variety of needs. The head teacher and governors of the school are looking for a candidate who has experience working with children with additional needs; however this is not essential as training will be provided. An optimistic attitude and a willingness to learn will go a very long way with in this role.
The role is to work in a ‘GOOD’ three for entry primary school which is located in the heart of Manchester. The school has been praised for getting the ‘quality of pupils’ learning and progress’ to ‘OUTSTANDING’ in recent years and for generally attaining higher levels than the national average at the end of KS2. The school are looking for a proactive and passionate Teaching Assistant who will adhere to the schools hard working ethos whilst working to assist the early learners in the school.
This lovely, 3 form entry primary school has a strong ‘community’ feel and is looking for someone to get involved with all aspects of school life. This role will start in September and will be on going. The opportunity to work for the school on a permanent basis may be possible for the right person.
